Ben, who was a black Standard Poodle, was born in June 1987, near Camborne in Cornwall, and marked our moving to the County from our previous home in Essex. He was brought home when he was only six weeks old, and it seems like yesterday when he was snuggled in my wife`s Margaret`s arms being collected in our car. Pierre was seen by us when we took Ben for a Clip at the breeders. He was looking all alone in an enclosure, and although it wasn`t admitted, we thought at the time that he had been out from the breeders to another home, and returned. He was then 15 months old. Both he and Ben were both lovely, friendly dogs, and we could not have wished for better friends in life...........Sadly both are no longer with us. Ben passed away aged 14 years in 2001, and Pierre after nearly 16 years, died in September 2003, both having lived a full, and active life....They are sorely missed....
